India is observing Kargil Vijay Diwas today, remembering the valour and sacrifice of the Bravehearts of 1999 Kargil war. On the day, the family members and kin of Captain Jintu Gogoi are remembering him and his valour at his native village in #Khumtai in #Assam‘s #Golaghat district. Captain Gogoi was one of the heroes of the Kargil Diwas and was martyred while fighting off the intruders during combat operations.
