An incident of molestation has been reported from Kacharipathar in upper Assam’s Sivasagar district.
A 35 year old woman was allegedly molested by one Chakradhar Gogoi, who she claims to be a relative of her. The incident took place on Tuesday wherein a FIR has been registered in Demow Police Station.
The case is registered under section 354 (B) of the Indian Penal Code and the search for the accused is on. According to police officials, the accused Chakradhar Gogoi is married with a child.
