Assam: 2 accidents in less than 24 hours; One dead, 2 critically injured

The deceased has been identified as Rahul Rabha (30), resident of Salpara village
Two accidents were reported from two different places of Assam today leaving one dead and two critically injured.
In the first accident, a youth died on the spot after he was hit by a speeding vehicle in Dudhnoi area in the Goalpara district today morning.
The impact of the vehicle hitting the youth on a scooty was such that his scooty broke the railing of the bridge and he fell into the canal killing him on the spot.
The youth identified as Rahul Rabha (30), resident of Salpara village, was on his way home from Dudhnoi.
In the other accident, two youths were seriously injured after their motorcycles collided head-on in Guwahati’s Barsapara area.
They have been admitted to the hospital, the condition of one of them is said to be critical.
The identities of the youths are still not known.
