Arunachal: RIWATCH, IAHN-TP Signs MoU To Promote Cross-Cultural Studies, language Promotion And Others

In a significant step towards global education and cultural exchange, the Research Institute of World’s Ancient Traditions, Cultures and Heritage (RIWATCH) in Arunachal Pradesh has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indonesia-based Institut Agama Hindu Nageri Tampung Penyang (IAHN-TP).
The objective of the MoU is to promote cross-cultural research on oral traditions and language promotion, exchange best practices in environmental studies and sustainable development, and plan study abroad opportunities for both institutes’ teachers and students.
The MoU was signed by RIWATCH executive director Vijay Swami and IAHN-TP rector Dr. Mujiyono in the presence of Dibrugarh (Assam) DRC Mishimbu Miri and IAHN-TP vice rector Dr. Tiwi Etika on Saturday.
Taking to X, Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated and extended best wishes to both RIWATCH and IAHN-TP for agreeing to collaborate in activities in key areas, such as academic, research, community service, and culture.

This collaboration will promote cross-cultural studies, oral traditions, environmental studies and student exchange programs. Congratulations & best wishes!,” CM Khandu posted on X.

The IAHN-TP is one of Indonesia’s largest institutes, funded by the country’s Religious Affairs Ministry. It offers 14 study courses that have been accepted by the national higher education accrediting agency, and it has achieved excellent progress in executing higher education’s three pillars: education, research, and community service.
