The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has rescheduled the APPSC Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination.

As per the new development the examination will be held on July 29, 2018. A notice was issued in this regard by APPSC secretary Onit Panyang. However, it was also made clear that no fresh admit cards will be issued again by the Commission.

The development comes days after a delegation of the Arunachal Pradesh Students Union besides other student activists submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for rescheduling the examination dates.

Earlier, the APSU delegation had urged for changing dates of examinations for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) to be held on 26th and 27th of May 2018 which clashed with the semester exams of all the technical institutes including NERIST, NIT and various other engineering institutes outside the state to be held in the month of May.
