According to the latest Pragati Dashboard rankings, Arunachal Pradesh ranked second among hill states in the country for implementing the Crime & Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS).

Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, wrote “In a first, Arunachal Pradesh achieves the second position among hilly States in the country for implementation of Crime & Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), as per latest Pragati Dashboard rankings. Congratulations @ArunachalPolice”
CCTNS stands for Crime and Criminal Tracking Networks and Systems, and it is an Indian government project aimed at developing a complete and integrated system for effective policing through e-Government. The system integrates more than 14,000 police stations around the country and incorporates a nationwide internet tracking system. The National Crime Records Bureau is in charge of implementing the initiative.
