Arunachal: 9 persons including 2 policemen arrested on charges of drug peddling

9 persons including 2 policemen and 1 woman have been arrested on charges of drug peddling at Roing in Lower Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh on sunday. The peddlers were

9 persons including 2 policemen and 1 woman have been arrested on charges of drug peddling at Roing in Lower Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh on sunday.

The peddlers were caught with 17.5 grams of cocaine, 2 digital weighing machines and cash worth Rs 34,500 which was immediately seized.

Roing Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Sain said that the arrested policemen have been put under suspension with immediate effect.

A case has also been registered in this regard. According to police, many complaints were received on the involvement of Police personnel in drug peddling.
