Three persons arrested on charges of acting as middlemen in the recruitment of Agriculture Development Officers in Assam have been sent to judicial custody.

The trio identified as Bikash Pincha, Kaushik Kalita and Kunal Das were already lodged in Guwahati central jail for their involvement in the APSC cash-for-job scam.

The police had rearrested the trio from the Guwahati central jail in connection with a case registered with the Bhangagarh police station.
