Anand Mahindra invites Meghalaya CM Sangma to perform at Mahindra Blues Festival

Impressed by solo guitar performance of Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma in a video shared by him on social media recently, Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra has invited him to perform at the Mahindra Blues Festival in February 2024.
Taking to X, the industrialist wrote, “Uber cool… we need you out here at the @mahindrablues in Feb @SangmaConrad.”
In his reply, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said, “Would love to @anandmahindra… need more practice though”.
CM Conrad Sangma on December 26 shared a video on Instagram, where he can be seen strumming a guitar to a song by the band Iron Maiden at the Roof Top Cafe in Tura. His performance was part of a reunion of his rock band ‘Saga’.
Soon the video has gone viral and it has received over 20,810 views till now.

This is not the first time that Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has played a guitar. Earlier this month, he has shared another video on Instagram, jamming with the rock band Colours, describing them as “one of the best bands I have played with.”
