Amit Shah who assumed office as the Union Home Minister on Saturday took no time to review the prevailing law and order situation besides other key issues in the entire nation.

Top officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) besides other security security agencies took part in the marathon meeting that lasted for more than 2 hours.

According to high level sources, key issues like the ongoing process of updating the National Register of Citizens besides the security situation in Kashmir topped the agenda of the meeting.

Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik, Lt Governor of Puducherry Kiran Bedi were also among others who were present in the meeting.
