Normal life came to a halt in Agartala after heavy rains since wee hours today lashed the Tripura capital city.

Several localities of the city including the areas of Mathchowmohani, Motor Stand and Shakuntala Road got submerged in flood waters.

Vehicular movement also came to a halt following the heavy rains that lashed the city since early this morning.
