The state’s kickboxers continued their remarkable performance at the Wako Indian Open International Kickboxing Tournament in New Delhi on Friday, winning two more medals on day-3.

Nangram Tachung won a silver medal in the below 57 kg light contact event, while Mepung Langdo won a gold medal in the below 65 kg point fight event.

Langdo overcame her opponent from Uzbekistan to capture the state’s second gold medal in the ongoing event.

Tachung had to settle for silver after losing to his opponent from Tamil Nadu in the finals, as reported by the Kickboxing Association of Arunachal.

In the ongoing event, Arunachal has won two gold medals and an equal number of silver medals.
