As many as 9 suspected Rohingyas refugees have been detained in the border town of Moreh.
This was informed by chief minister N Biren Singh. As per the authorities, the suspected Rohingya refugees possessed Aadhar cards and Indian voter Id cards. Earlier, 12 Rohingyas were detected in the state on separate occasions.
On receiving reports of movement of illegal migrants and traffickers around Moreh town, a combined team of Moreh police frisked the area and intercepted two vehicles coming from Moreh towards Imphal.
