6 Sikkim Boxers selected for the 6th Elite Men’s National Boxing Championship

Six boxers have been selected for the 6th Elite Men's National Boxing Championship

Six Sikkim boxers – Punzal Pradhan (48 kg category), Krishna Kailash Rai (in 51 kg category), Binod Gurung (in 57 kg category), Rudra Bdr. Chettri (in 60 kg wt.category, Mr. Prabesh Tamang s/o Shri Basant Tamang in 67 kg category) and Bikram Gurung (in 71 kg category) from Gangtok and Namchi are representing the state at the 6th Elite Men’s National Boxing Championship – 2022 being held at CCS, Haryana from today.

AIBA 1st Star Coach, Anoj Pradhan is escorting the team as coach cum manager for the championship that will go on till January 5.

Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association (SABA) has extended its best wishes to the team, Dr. R.B.Biswakarma
General Secretary, SABA said.

This is the last calendar event of the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) for the financial year, 2022-23 being organized by the BFI in association with the Haryana Boxing Sangh.
