50 Injured in Head-On Collision Between Two Buses on Assam’s NH 17

The buses, one heading to Goalpara and the other to Guwahati, collided head-on on National Highway 17, leaving several in serious condition. No fatalities have been reported so far

In a major road accident, around 50 people were injured when two buses collided head-on at Rampur in South Kamrup, Assam, on National Highway 17. One bus was en-route to Goalpara while the other was heading towards Guwahati when the collision occurred.

Of the injured, approximately 30 were rushed to nearby hospitals in Rampur and Mirza, with several reported to be in serious condition. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported yet.
