Lady Doctor Allegedly Slaps Toddler Multiple Times During Treatment in a Clinic in Assam’s Silchar

When confronted by the parents, the doctor said she slapped the child to control him

A lady doctor practicing at an eye clinic in Assam’s Silchar has been accused of slapping a 2-and-a-half-year-old child multiple times during examining him.

Parents of the child have accused Dr Haimanti Chaudhury of Chaudhury eye clinic of slapping the child multiple times leaving him injured and unconscious.

Narrating the incident, the parents, in an emotional state, claimed that Dr. Chaudhury lost her patience while examining him and physically assaulted the child.

When confronted by the parents, the doctor said she slapped the child to control him.

The police have detained the doctor for questioning.

Angry and agitated relatives arrived at the Clinic and demanded action against the doctor.
