4 new COVID-19 positive cases in Assam; Northeast tally rises to 24

As many as 4 new positive cases of COVID-19 has been reported in Assam. Three cases has been reported from Nalbari and one case from South Salmara.

All the 4 new COVID-19 cases had attended the Markaz event at Nizamuddin in Delhi. With this the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Assam has spiked to 20.

Notably, all the 20 positive cases in Assam that have been detected so far has been linked with the religious congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi.

 

Meanwhile, the rise in the number of positive cases in Assam has also shot up the overall tally of positive cases in Northeast to 24.

While, Assam has reported 20 cases so far, Manipur has reported 2 cases. On the other hand, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh have reported 1 case each.
