4 Mizoram MLAs appointed as advisers to CM

Dr Kenneth Chawngliana has been appointed as Vice Chairman of Mizoram State Planning Board

The Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati has appointed four MLAs as advisers to Chief Minister Laduhoma in the rank and status of Minister of State.

The four newly appointed advisers to the Chief Minister are– Lalmuanpula Punte as an adviser to the chief minister (Political), H Ginzalala as an adviser to the chief minister (Technical), TBC Lalvenchhunga as an adviser to the chief minister (Finance) and Lorrain Lalpekliana Chinzah as an adviser to chief minister (Health & Family Welfare & Agriculture).

Dr Kenneth Chawngliana has been appointed as Vice Chairman of Mizoram State Planning Board.

Additionally, the Governor also appointed nine Personal Secretaries to Chief Minister Lalduhoma.

The new Mizoram government led by Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) chief Lalduhoma was sworn in on December 8 after registering a thumping victory in the just concluded Mizoram Assembly elections bagging 27 seats in the 40-member assembly quashing the ruling MNF.

Lalduhoma took oath as the 6th Chief Minister of 9th Mizoram Legislative Assembly.
