In a significant boost to connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh, remote parts of the state including Tuting, Mechukha, Pasighat, Tezu, Ziro and Vijaynagar will soon be connected with fixed wing flight
In a significant boost to connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh, remote parts of the state including Tuting, Mechukha, Pasighat, Tezu, Ziro and Vijaynagar will soon be connected with fixed wing flight services of Alliance Air’s Dornier DO-228, a 16 seater aircraft manufactured by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
In the presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, a historic lease agreement was signed on Sunday between HAL and Alliance Air through Virtual Conference to lease two DO-228 Aircraft to fly in Arunachal under the UDAN scheme. This is also the first made in India aircraft to be pressed for civilian flights to connect remote parts of the country.
