Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Wednesday received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, Covishield at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima and appealed to all those who are eligible to get inoculated.

Rio stressed on the fact that it is a great opportunity for all to get vaccinated. He also said that the beneficiaries must not miss the second dose of the vaccine.

After receiving the first dose of Covishield, Rio stated that he was feeling fine and normal.

Others who received the first dose of the vaccine include Chief Minister Rio’s wife Kaisa Rio, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and School Education Advisor KT Sukhalu.

Meanwhile, Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom along with other also MLAs took their first dose of the vaccine at Dimapur District Hospital.
