3 Spear Corps Commander Calls on CM N Biren Singh, Discusses Security Situation in State

The Corps Commander complimented all ranks for their high standards of professionalism, selfless commitment, and high morale.

Three Spear Corps Commander Lt Gen Abhijit Pendharkar called on Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Saturday and discussed aspects related to the current security situation and measures being undertaken for maintaining peace and stability in the state.

Taking to X, SpearCorps. IndianArmy said, “SpearCorps Indian Army interacted with the Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh and discussed aspects related to the current security situation and measures being undertaken for maintaining peace and stability in Manipur.”

Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that deliberations focused on the security situation, maintenance of law & order, war on drugs, search operations, and measures to maintain peace and normalcy in the state.

“Lt General Abhijit S Pendharkar, GOC HQ 3 Crops and Major Gen Ravroop, IGAR (South) called on me at my secretariat office today. Extended a hearty welcome to Lt General Abhijit S Pendharkar as he assumes charges as the new GOC. Deliberated on the security situation, maintenance of Law & Order, War on Drugs, search operations and measures to maintain peace and normalcy in the state”, Manipur CM tweeted.

Prior to his meeting with the Manipur Chief Minister, Lt Gen Abhijit Pendharkar also visited the Assam Rifles formation at Churachandpur in Manipur and reviewed the internal security situation and operational preparedness.

The Corps Commander complimented all ranks for their high standards of professionalism, selfless commitment, and high morale.
