2 NSCN-IM cadres apprehended in Assam

During the operation, Security Forces apprehended two NSCN-IM cadres along with a 7.62mm pistol and a magazine.
In a successful operation, security forces apprehended 2 armed cadres of the NSCN-IM in Assam.
Troops of Lekhapani Battalion of Red Shield Division under the aegis of Spear Corps, launched an operation with Assam police, based on specific input regarding the presence of suspected armed cadre in General area Amguri.
During the operation, Security Forces apprehended two NSCN-IM cadres along with a 7.62mm pistol and a magazine.
Meanwhile, the cadres have been handed over to Amguri police for further investigation.
