2 killed in fresh violence in Manipur

Heavy cross firing between armed men was reported along the peripheral areas of the two districts.
As many as 2 people were brutally killed today as fresh violence gripped the periphery area between Imphal West and Kangpokpi in Manipur.

As per sources, gunmen entered Kadangban Village near Leimakhong and brutally killed 2 people while 2 more sustained Bullet injuries. Not only this, a couple of people are also said to be missing in the violence.
Meanwhile the bodies as well as the injured have been brought to RIMS Hospital in Imphal.
The bodies were recovered by combined teams of Security forces during search operation in the evening.
The incident took place around 1:00 pm today.
