15 more ACS, APS officials granted bail in APSC cash-for-job scam

In a major development, the Gauhati High court has granted bail to 15 ACS and APS officers who are accused in the APSC cash-for-job scam.

The 15 officers were arrested on July 18 and were granted bail on the basis of the period of detention.

Those officers granted bail are– Rituraj Neog, Monika Teronpi, Barnali Devi, Leenakrishna Kakoti, Manjur Elahi Laskar, Saibur Rahman Borbhuyan, Ganesh Chandra Das, Sravanti Sen Gupta, Pallabi Sharma, Sushobhan Das, Manabpratim Haloi, Dipsikha Phukan, Moon Mazumdar, Bhargab phukan, Gulshan Daulagapu and Mostafa Ahmed Borbhuyan.
