Crime against women and especially minors does not seem to die in Assam.
In another shocking incident, a 13 year old girl was allegedly molested during school hours by a teacher of the Nehru Hindi Vidyalaya in Moran in Eastern Assam’s Charaideo district on Friday afternoon.
The accused teacher has been identified as Narendra Kumar Singh. Police said that the girl had alleged that the teacher has ‘done bad deeds’ with her while she went to drink water.
The teacher who was caught hold by some locals was thrashed badly. The accused was later arrested by police. 5 other local youths were also arrested for beating up the teacher after the incident came to light.
