1 dead, 3 injured in a fatal road accident in Assam’s Cachar

The accident occurred when a van travelling toward Silchar lost control and hit an autorickshaw from behind

One person was killed while 3 others were injured in a ghastly accident at the National Highway near Haticherra Teastate in Cachar district of Assam today.

As per inputs, the accident occurred when a van travelling towards Silchar lost control and hit an autorickshaw from behind.

One passenger sitting inside the autorickshaw died on the spot, while three others were injured seriously.

On receiving information about the accident, police rushed to the accident site. Police with the help of locals rescued the injured people and sent them to a nearby hospital. One of the three injured person is said to be in critical condition.
