Sikkim Elections 2024: BJP State president D.R Thapa exudes confidence of winning by significant margin

Speaking to Northeast Live, Thapa said that he is confident of the party winning by a significant margin.

Ahead of the upcoming assembly polls in Sikkim as well as the Lok Sabha polls for the lone MP seat in the Himalayan state, Sikkim BJP State President D.R Thapa has expressed confidence that the party is set to deliver a strong performance.

Speaking to Northeast Live, Thapa said that he is confident of the party winning by a significant margin.

The Sikkim BJP Prez further mentioned that BJP will not enter into any pre-poll or post-poll alliances. He, however, said that if any party wants to approach them about forming any alliances then they are welcome to do so.

Speaking on the pre-poll violence that has plagued the state recently,Thapa said that he doesnot believe that free and fair elections can be held during this time in Sikkim and has urged all political parties to put an end to the violence.
