Omicron cases in India rise to 87 after fresh cases detected in Karnataka and Telangana

Fresh cases in Karnataka and Telangana have pushed India’s Omicron variant tally to 87. While Karnataka recorded five cases, neighbouring Telangana added four fresh cases of the new variant on Thursday. Delhi also reported four new cases.
