Manipur leads medal tally at North East Olympic Games 2022 with 221 medals

The competition for overall championship title at the 2nd North East Olympic Games 2022 in Meghalaya is becoming more intense.
As of 10 pm on Tuesday, Manipur topped the medals tally with a total of 221 medals in the ongoing championship.
Manipur won 78 gold, 71 silver and 72 bronze medals.
Assam secured the second slot in the medals tally with a total of 183 medals- 75 gold, 55 silver and 53 bronze medals.
Meghalaya is third in the medals tally with total of 142 medals -34 gold, 34 silver and 72 bronze medals.

With a total of 108 medals received in the 2nd North East Olympic Games 2022, Arunachal Pradesh secured the fourth spot in the medal tally. The state has won 38 gold, 35 silver and 35 bronze medals.
Mizoram, meanwhile, ranked in fifth in the overall rankings with a total of 93 medals -15 gold, 26 silver, and 52 bronze.
With a total of 67 medals -16 gold, 14 silver, and 37 bronze, Nagaland acquired sixth place in the medal rankings.
With a total of 47 medals—2 gold, 14 silver, and 31 bronze, Sikkim is ranked seventh.
Tripura, which is now in position eight, has won the lowest medals at the 2nd North East Olympic Games 2022.
The state has just acquired 2 gold, 14 silver and 31 bronze medals.
