West Shillong is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Meghalaya state in India. It is part of East Khasi Hills district. It falls under Shillong Lok Sabha constituency and its current MLA is Mohendro Rapsang of Indian National Congress.
In 2018 the constituency had 25,782 electors.
Former Congress and current NPP MLA Mohendro Rapsang is the sitting MLA of the West Shillong constituency. He won the seat on a Congress ticket by defeating Paul Lyngdoh of the United Democratic Party (UDP) with a margin of 1984 votes.
Mohendro Rapsang joined the NPP on December 19 and is contesting the 2023 assembly elections on a NPP ticket.
Mohendro Rapsang had also contested the 2023 elections from West Shillong constituency.
