15-year-old stabbed to death by his friends over Rs. 115 food bill in Uttar Pradesh

A 15-year-old boy was allegedly murdered by three of his friends over the due payment of Rs. 115 at a local shop in Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj district.

The incident took place in Ghughuli village of Gorakhpur under Maharajganj district on Thursday evening.

As per reports, the victim boy went out with his friends. After they had eggs from a vendor, an argument broke out between them over the payment of the bill. Following the argument, the victim boy was taken to Ahirauli village by the three friends. The trio then allegedly attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon killing him on the spot.

After killing him, they hid his body near the banks of the Chhoti Gandak River and fled.

Meanwhile, when the victim boy did not show up at his home, his parents got terrified and informed the Ghughuli Police.

Police swung into action immidiately, and recovered his body on Sunday morning.

Police launched an investigation into the matter and arrested all three accused.
