Is Elon Musk’s mom worried about the cage fight with Mark Zuckerberg? Here is what she said

With two of the IT world’s most prominent figures Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk squabbling, the much-anticipated cage match is drawing tremendous attention from around the world and the internet has been buzzing with anticipation. But it looks like Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk is not very happy about the proposed fight. She has been disapproving it since day one.

Seems like she does not have enough faith in her son’s fighting abilities as she is requesting people to stop encouraging the bout between her son and Mark Zuckerberg.

After both the business magnets agreed to the “cage match” face-off in late June, Musk’s mother appeared to be cautioning her son against the match.

“Don’t encourage this match!” she tweeted at podcaster and AI researcher Lex Fridman adding two angry-face emojis to her post.

Fridman had suggested he would be “all for” a Musk vs. Zuck jiu-jitsu match. Elon Musk gamely responded to Fridman, writing: “Let’s go full MMA.”

But his mother has been spending the last day trying to stop the throwdown from happening.

“Actually, I canceled the fight. I haven’t told them yet. But I will continue to say the fight is canceled, just in case,” she wrote on X, formaly known as Twitter.

After Musk suggested that the fight will take place at the UFC’s Octagon in Vegas, ahe asked him to knock it off.

Maye Musk wrote on X, “No joking. “Fight with words only. In armchairs. 4 feet apart. The funniest person wins.”

No date has been set for the fight yet, but Musk has hinted at a possible live-stream of his cage fight with Meta owne on X.

“”Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on 𝕏. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” Musk said in his post on August 6,” his post read.
