Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the cinemas after four years hasn’t gone unnoticed. Fans are turning up in huge numbers at the theatres to watch their favourite superstar on screen after a hiatus of four years. At the box office collections, Pathaan is unstoppable in India and worldwide. To acknowledge Pathaan’s success, Shah Rukh Khan hosted an #AskSRK session on Twitter today, January 28, where he opened up about the box office success of Pathaan. He also reacted to the fan frenzy.

SRK ON PATHAAN’S BOX OFFICE SUCCESS

Pathaan, that released on January 25, is running a riot at the box office. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the film took a bumper opening at the box office! On Day 3, Pathaan managed to cross the Rs 300-crore mark worldwide. During the Ask SRK session, a fan asked, “Sir @iamsrk #PathaanMovie ke collection ko dekh kr kaisa Mehsoos Ho Raha Aapko? (sic)”. To this, Shah Rukh Khan replied, “Bhai numbers phone ke hote hain…hum toh khushi ginte hain…#Pathaan (sic).”

ON THE FAN FRENZY…

By now, we must have all seen the fan frenzy regarding Pathaan. People have been flocking to theaters for the early morning shows, bringing huge posters, cakes and wearing SRK tees. They are also bursting crackers outside the theaters and dancing on their seats at the halls. A fan asked SRK regarding that saying, “Pathaan ka public response dekh kaisa lag raha?? (sic).” The actor answered, “Naach gaao hanso kya pata kal ho na ho….lekin sab karo thoda pyaar se. Look after each other when u are celebrating Pathaan please (sic).”

Another fan shared a video from Pathaan screening where fans are seen getting up on their seats and dancing along with the song Jhoome Jo Pathaan. The tweet read, “AskSRK @iamsrk sir scenes from FDFS delhi by SRK universe (sic).” SRK replied, “Thank u so much for all the love but enjoy safely. #Pathaan (sic).”

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have come together for the first time in Pathaan. The film is written and directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, and is Khan’s comeback film after Zero (2018).
