As fires spread rapidly through areas like Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Santa Monica, they have claimed thousands of homes and prompted widespread evacuations. The Pacific Palisades Fire, which began on Tuesday, remains at zero percent containment, as do the Eaton and Woodley fires. Other blazes, including the Lidia Fire (40% contained) and the Hurst Fire (10% contained), continue to threaten communities. On Wednesday, the Sunset Fire erupted in the Hollywood Hills, endangering landmarks like the Hollywood Bowl before being brought under control.
