After Village Rockstars bagged Swarna Kamal this year, another Assamese film ‘Xoixobote Dhemalite’ has received 8 nominations at Love International Film Festival, a US festival which is going to be held in Beverly Hills on July 7.

The film has been nominated in Best feature film, Best director, best screenplay, best actor, best actress ,best supporting actor , best cinematography and Best score category.

Directed by Bidyut Kakoty, the film is based on true events and narrates the psychological trauma children went through during the Assam agitation in the 1980s.
