Amid their rumoured relationship, a silver band was recently noticed on Parineeti's ring finger
Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra’s rumoured relationship with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha is nowadays the talk of the town. According to an India Today report, the couple’s roka (a Punjabi ceremony where the would-be bride and groom and their families meet and formalise the relation) ceremony is done and the wedding is scheduled to be held in October this year.
The report quoting a source close to the couple said that the roka ceremony was a close family affair. The duo is likely to get married by October-end of this year but Raghav and Parineeti are not in a rush because they both have work commitments to attend to before beginning the wedding festivities.
It’s interesting to note that Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin sister, will be in India around the same time for the Jio MAMI Film Festival scheduled to take place this year from October 27 to November 5.
According to sources, Parineeti’s wedding will take place while her sister is visiting India.
After the Bollywood actress was seen with Raghav not just once, but several times in the past, relationship speculations have been spreading like wildfire on the internet. Amid all these speculations, a silver band was recently noticed on Parineeti’s ring finger which added fuel to these rumours.
Moreover, Parineeti was spotted leaving the house of famous fashion designer Manish Malhotra fuelling further speculations that she was there to design her wedding outfits.
It may be mentioned here that Raghav and Parineeti visited Mumbai earlier this month and met Priyanka while she was there promoting her forthcoming show Citadel.
Earlier, AAP MP Sanjeev Arora congratulated Parineeti and Raghav on their union.
Taking to Twitter Arora wrote, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to @raghav_chadha and @ParineetiChopra . May their union be blessed with an abundance of love, joy, and companionship. My best wishes!!! (sic).”
On the work front, Parineeti will next be seen in Chamkila alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the film directed by Imtiaz Ali. After that, she will appear in a movie with Akshay Kumar.
