Union HM Amit Shah’s Mizoram visit on April 1: CM Zoramthanga reviews preparedness

Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga today chaired a key meeting and reviewed the preparedness ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the state on April 1.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Mizoram on April 1 to inaugurate an Assam Rifles battalion headquarters at Zokhawsang near Aizawl.

Shah will also lay the foundation stone for Laldenga Cultural Centre in the city during his visit.

Laldenga, the founder of the Mizo National Front (MNF), was the first chief minister of Mizoram after it attained statehood in 1987.

Earlier, on March 21, the Mizoram Chief Minister had met Amit Shah at the national capital, following which he confirmed about the Union Home Minister’s visit to the state.
