Tripura Youth Congress stages protest, demands resignation of Smriti Irani

Irani is trying to take advantage of the situation and trying to divert the nation’s attention from her Daughter’s illegal bar scam in Goa.

Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress has demanded the immediate resignation of Union Minister Smriti Irani over her alleged misbehavior towards Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi in the Parliament.

Staging a protest in Agartala, the Tripura wing of the Indian Youth Congress shouted slogans against the BJP and Smriti Irani, demanding the resignation of the Union Minister and burning her effigy.

Md Sahajan Islam, vice president of Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress condemned the behavior of Union Minister Smriti Irani against Sonia Gandhi.

He said senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury immediately after referring to President Draupadi Murmu as ‘Rashtrapati’ apologized saying it was a slip of tongue, but Smriti Irani by attacking Sonia Gandhi in the Parliament, Irani is trying to take advantage of the situation and trying to divert the nation’s attention from her Daughter’s illegal bar scam in Goa.
