Tripura will be introducing drone technology for the development of the primary agriculture sector in the state. This was informed by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb while addressing the 10th Biennial Conference of Tripura Agriculture Graduate Association on Sunday.
CM Deb said in today’s world possessing the correct data is most vital for the success of any scheme or project and drone technology can provide exact data to the officials engaged with the agriculture allied sector and so the state government has decided to get the officials trained in using the drone technology.

Speaking to the media CM Deb claimed that the income of the farmers in the last four years has almost doubled and the state is not only developing its primary sector but has also taken various initiatives for attracting investment in the state.
The Chief Minister stated that Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the first time was introduced in Tripura after his government came to power besides exporting agriculture and horticulture crops and value-added products to earn foreign currency.
