Tripura CM Thanks Assam CM for Rs 5 Crore Relief Fund for Flood Victims

The relief fund was handed over by Assam's Minister of Tourism, Jayanta Malla Barua, during a meeting with Chief Minister Saha at his official residence in Agartala.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for extending financial assistance of Rs 5 crore to support the flood-affected people in Tripura.
The relief fund was handed over by Assam’s Minister of Tourism, Jayanta Malla Barua, during a meeting with Chief Minister Saha at his official residence in Agartala.
CM Saha took to social media platform X to thank the Assam government, stating, “My sincere thanks and gratitude to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the Government of Assam for coming forward to help the flood victims.” He also expressed appreciation for Assam’s Minister of Tourism, Jayanta Malla Barua for personally delivering the aid on behalf of the Assam government.
The assistance comes as Tripura continues to recover from recent devastating floods, which have caused widespread damage and displaced many residents across the state.
