Tripura BJP has slammed the TIPRA Motha blaming the regional party for allegedly orchestrating attack on the convoy of BJP ST Morcha national president Samir Oraon.
Chief Minister Manik Saha blamed TIPRA Motha workers for the attack and warned that those involved will not be spared at any cost. Besides Chief Minister Manik Saha, Tripura BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty also lashed out at the TIPRA Motha for allegedly carrying out the attack on Samir Oraon’s convoy.
Meanwhile, TIPRA Motha chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma condemned the incident and termed the attack as unfortunate. However, Debbarma informed that TIPRA Motha workers including women workers were attacked and vehicles vandalized after the conclusion of a rally. According to the TIPRA Motha Chief, the attackers claimed themselves as BJP workers, but he believes that they might belong to the CPM also.
Pradyot Kishore Debbarma even did not rule out the possibility that the attackers might be some goons. The Tripura Royal scion informed that he has already moved the police urging for taking stern action against those guilty, even if they have any political affiliation.
