Samir Oraon's convoy attacked. Situation turned so ugly that security forces had to open blank firing to disperse the unruly mob.
BJP ST Morcha national president Samir Oraon had a narrow escape after his convoy was attacked at Barmura in Tripura’s Khowai district.
Allegations are that the attack was carried out by TIPRA Motha supporters.
The situation turned so ugly that security forces had to open blank firing to disperse the unruly mob. During the incident, BJP ST Morcha national president Samir Oraon was accompanied by Tripura BJP Janajati Morcha chief Bikash Debbarma and TTAADC executive member Bidyut Debbarma.
The incident took place when the BJP leaders were returning from Kanchanpur in North Tripura.
