Union Minister of railways, Communication and electronics & information technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw is in Sikkim where he is visiting the villages in the border areas. Vaishnaw upon arriving in Lachung said that there is a need to understand the needs and demands of the people living there so that they may bring about the necessary developments such as tele connectivity, road connectivity and many such developmental projects under the central scheme of Vibrant Village Programme.
