Sikkim’s BJP North District delegation led by District President Tashi Ongdup Lepcha met Union Tribal affairs Minister Arjuna Munda on Wednesday. During the meeting, BJP delegation discussed various issues with the union minister including the long pending demand of Limboo Tamang Assembly Seat Reservation issue, ST Status for the Left out Community under the Tribal Affairs Ministry. Meanwhile, BJP delegation also extended demands for inclusion of the Lepcha Language in the 8th Schedule, Tribal University in the North as well as Status of Tribal District for North Sikkim.
