Sikkim actor Anant Manger shares silver screen with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor in ‘Bloody Daddy’

Sikkim actor, Anant Manger from Gangtok made the state proud as he shared the silver screen with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor in the latest Bollywood movie, ‘Bloody Daddy’. The movie was released on OTT platform Jio Studios on June 9.

The Sikkimese actor has received rave reviews from film critics for his performance in the movie.
Apart from “Bloody Daddy,” Anant has also acted in the feature film “Broken Wings” and the television series “Hamari Angel,” which aired on Doordarshan.

The 22-year-old Anant Manger, hailing from Gangtok, who loves acting, joined the prestigious Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai, a renowned institution that has produced talents like Sushant Rajput and Shahrukh Khan.

Bloody Daddy is a Bollywood action thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who co-wrote the film with Aditya Basu and Siddharth Garima, and produced by Jio Studios.

The movie features Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia, and Vivan Bhatena.

The movie is an adaptation of the 2011 French film Sleepless Night.

Anant has also featured alongside Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in a television commercial for Philips trimmers.

The movie has received an IMDb rating of 8/10.
