The Sikkim government, continuing its effort to empower women in the state, has decided to provide annual financial assistance to 14,000 mothers across the state under the “Sikkim Mother Empowerment Scheme,” launched on the initiative of Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang.
