Sikkim: Landslide blocks NH-10 near Singtam

NH-10 totally blocked near at 19th mile-20mile near Singtam. Several vehicles stranded on either side of blockade.
Sikkim is experiencing incessant rainfall that has led to the total blockade of the NH-10 due to landslide at 19th mile-20mile near Singtam. The landslide is expected to be cleared only on Monday morning. The landslide has left several vehicles stranded. Vehicles have been diverted via Singtam-Pendam-Duga and Rangpo. Commuters, especially tourists and those returning after Dashain break are facing a harrowing time due to the sudden highway disruption.
