Process to repeal AFSPA on: HM Amit Shah

In a significant statement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said today that the centre is working on modalities to repeal AFSPA in Nagaland.
The Union Home Minister, while addressing a gathering at the Nousi Auditorium Hall in Nagaland’s Chumukedima, lauded the state’s law and order system. He cited that instances of insurgency had gone down by 75 percent as compared to 2014, adding that the centre is already on the job of repealing the AFSPA in the state.
