Naga issue: Is a solution before election still a possibility? Will there be a common draft in place before Christmas? Will more round of talks follow soon? These are some of the questions that arise at a time when talks between the Goverment of India representative and NSCN-IM leadership is yet to resume following the Dusshera and Diwali break.
While there are speculations doing rounds that one round of talks was held between the NSCN-IM and interlocutor AK Mishra on November 8th, sources in the know-how have informed that there has been no talks between the NSCN-IM and the government of India representative since the time general secretary of the group Thuingaleng Muivah landed in Delhi on October 25th.
So will the talks resume soon and will the dialogue process make a decisive progress in the next one month paving the way for a possible common draft before Christmas?
These are the questions that come to the fore at the moment as far as a solution to the vexed Naga issue is concerned.
