Mizoram: 11 year old mentally challenged boy who was missing, found dead

The body of the 11-year-old mentally challenged boy who was missing for five days was found on Wednesday at an old road in Mamit bordering Mizoram and Tripura.
The body was found partly covered with leaves, police officials said.
Police said that investigation has been launched into the death of the child who hailed from Mamit town. He had gone missing on Friday last.
A team of forensic experts are examining the body and the surroundings. They did not rule out foul play in the death of the young boy.
A massive search was conducted inside Mamit town as well as in the surrounding villages by volunteers from Mamit and nearby villages soon after the boy was reported missing.
The state Police personnel had used Police dogs also in the 5-day search.
